where we come in
When the right piece does not already exist.
Some spaces need more than something selected from a catalogue. A particular proportion, An unusual function, A material that has to belong precisely where it’s placed. Antoine Lussac Valmont comes in at that point : translating an idea, requirement or spatial condition into something made specifically for it.
Furniture.
Pieces developed around a particular space, use and proportion..
Luminaire.
Light conceived as both functional equipment and physical object.
Cabinetry & Feature pieces.
Purpose-built objects where storage, display and architecture intersect.
Architectural details.
Handles, screens, metalwork and other elements when the standard solution is not enough.
made for
For the piece that matters.
Antoine Lussac Valmont is for clients, designers and architects looking for something specific rather than something simply available.

A private client
looking for a singular piece made around their home, collection or way of living.

An interior designer or architect
needing a bespoke element developed and resolved for a wider project.

A hospitality or retail project
where one distinctive object can carry part of the identity of the space.

A collector or brand
looking to turn an idea, material or function into a physical object with presence.
We do not need to design the entire room. Sometimes our role is simply to make the one thing the room cannot do without.

our point of view
Bespoke should mean necessary.
We are not interested in making something unusual simply because it can be made.
A bespoke object should have a reason to exist. Perhaps the dimensions are particular.
The function is unusual.
The material deserves a different treatment.
Or the object needs a character that cannot be found ready-made.
That necessity becomes the starting point.
From there, proportion, material, construction and detail are considered together until the piece feels inevitable, not added to the space, but belonging to it.
the Antoine Lussac Valmont lens
Four things guide every piece.

PURPOSE
We begin with what the object needs to do. Function is not something concealed beneath the design. It gives the design its logic.

PROPORTION
A piece is always understood in relation to its surroundings. Scale, rhythm, thickness and visual weight are calibrated so the object sits naturally within the architecture around it.

MATERIAL
Materials are chosen for what they bring physically — texture, ageing, weight, reflectivity, warmth and touch. Their character should become more apparent through making, not disappear beneath it.

RESOLUTION
The difference is often in what happens at the junctions.
