where we come in
When the experience matter as much as the space.
Baron & Vale is brought into projects where function alone is not enough; where the environment must establish character, elevate perception, and leave a lasting impression.
A Destination needs an identity.
A hotel, bar, restaurant or club that should feel unmistakably its own.
A Brand needs physical presence.
A retail or commercial environment that must translate positioning into space.
An existing place needs to be elevated.
A venue with potential, but without the atmosphere or coherence expected of it.
A private environment needs consideration.
Space where material, comfort, and character matter beyond conventional luxury.
made for
For Briefs with something to say.
Baron & Vale works with clients who see the environment as part of the experience; not simply the container around it.

Places people return to.
We design environments that earn loyalty through feeling and function.

Brands that value presence over noise.
We build spaces that express a point of view with quiet confidence.

Clients seeking longevity.
We create for the long view, not the next season.

our point of view
Atmosphere is not decoration. It is Architecture experienced.
A memorable interior is rarely the result of one dramatic gesture.
It emerges from how a room is entered, how light falls, how materials meet, how people gather, and how each element, contributes to a larger sense of place. Every decision shapes how a place is felt, not just how it is seen.
Baron & Vale designs those relationships as once composition.
The objective is not to make a space look expensive. It is to make it feel complete.
the baron & vale lens
What we look for.

ATMOSPHERE – How should the room feel?
Light, enclosure, acoustics, material and scale are considered together to establish the emotional character of the space.

RHTYHM – How should the experience unfold?
Arrival, reveal, mouvement, pause and occupation are composed as a sequence rather than a collection of rooms.

MATERIAL DEPTH – What gives the space lasting presence?
Materials are chosen for tactility, ageing, reflection and the way they interact; not simply for the surface appearance.

RESTRAINT – What can be removed?
The strongest spaces rarely need every idea. We delete deliberately, allowing fewer gestures to create greater weight.

selected world
From first glance to lasting impression.
Commercial design begins before someone enters.
It starts with what catches the eye, continues through how the space guides behaviour and ends with what people remember afterwards.
We design that sequence deliberately.

the brief
Create somewhere people want to stay.
Velour is conceived as more than a cocktail destination. The brief calls for a room capable of feeling intimate on an ordinary evening while carrying the presence required for private events, tasting, and collaborations.

the idea
A venue built around ritual.
Arrival, atmosphere and social interactions are designed as one composition. The experience unfolds through threshold, bar and lounge. Building character through proportion, material depth and light rather than spectacle.

design moves

arrival with occasion

A sculptural transition separates the venue from the outside world establishing ceremony from the first step.
02
center of gravity

A central feature bar anchors the room visually and socially, turning service into part of the atmosphere.
03
intimacy in layers

Seating is arranged in smaller territories so the room can feel social, intimate and event-ready at once.
